It’s been a while since we’ve posted a tech update, but we certainly haven’t had a lack of updates to Nimia in the past couple months! So, let’s dive right in.

If you’re a regular user of Nimia, you probably noticed the huge redesign we released at the beginning of this month. One of the major goals of this redesign was to create an overall better user experience for our users. We’ve boosted performance, simplified several processes, and focused on uniformity throughout the platform.

Direct Sales and Transfers
Another major update that came with the redesign of Nimia was a more straightforward way to create direct sales and transfers.
HD Playback
That’s right! You can now watch the beautiful content on the Nimia archives in 720p. This change is retroactive and will added HD to all new and existing videos that have a high enough resolution to support HD.
Referrals
The referral program has been around for about a month now, but if you’re not familiar with it, now is a great time to use it:
If you refer a friend or colleague, you’ll get 5% of their sales and purchases! Just log in to your Nimia account, click Referrals in the user menu (hover your username), and invite people by email!
Showpiece
You may be wondering where all the pretty pictures are in this post. Well, for those who haven’t seen it lately, you’ll just have to go visit Nimia and take a look first hand at the new redesign. But since this Showpiece feature isn’t quite live, here’s an exclusive pre-release picture!
Beautiful! Showpieces are a new way for you to show off your best clips in high resolution. They won’t have a watermark nor can they be licensed, but they’re a great way to share and promote your videos.
Batch Uploading
Selecting 100 videos to upload and walking away is a beautiful thing. With Nimia’s new batch upload capabilities you can do exactly that.
