These past few weeks we’ve had social on our minds. We want to help our users demonstrate their amazing content to the world. We’ve just released user profile collections, so artists can display their best work. On the other side of things, videos in the marketplace can now be bookmarked with our Favorites feature, or upvoted with Kudos to show your appreciation. Additionally, we’ve made our model release system much more robust so that you can clearly communicate rights clearance to potential buyers.
Profile Collections
Collections appear as a new tab on your profile.
In order to add a collection to your profile, first create the collection. You can select any number of assets from your asset manager and then click the Collections / Share button. Once you’ve created the collection, you will want to add it to your profile. From the user menu in the top right, select “Edit Profile”, and from that view you will click on the “Manage Collections” tab. Just drag over the collection(s) you created, and voila! Your collections are not visible on your profile.
Favorites & Kudos
Videos in the marketplace now have icons to add to your Favorites, or give the content creator Kudos.
Click on the icons to give a video Kudos or save it in Favorites
Once a video is in your Favorites, just navigate to the user menu in the top right and select “Favorites” to see your favorited videos.
Model/Trademark/Propery Releases
We’ve made it much easier to attach releases to videos. When you are editing a video and select “Manage Releases,” you will now get a modal that contains a list of all your release documents. You can upload new releases, add or remove them from the current video.
